At 18, I discovered that I had a passion for baking. When I was 22, I decided to go to culinary school. Though I ended up dropping out, due to illness, I have never stopped learning. One of the greatest lessons I ever learned is that the best way to learn is in the kitchen. While in school, I taught survival swim lessons and mermaid swim lessons. This is where I found my love for mermaids. Throughout my, short, career, I’ve had the great fortune to work on some amazing projects, while meeting many influential and creative individuals along the way. I believe in working together to create a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts, thus creating a blog to learn, teach and share knowledge.
